I was born in 1964 in Otwock, where I live and work. With my wife Anna we have two children, Edyta (14) and Hubert (7).

Education:

E. Pijanowski Technical College in Warsaw.
Studies at the Law Faculty of the L. Koźmiński Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management (now the Koźmiński University) in Warsaw, specialising in commercial law.
Foreign languages: English and Russian, at medium level of proficiency.

Professional activity:

For 20 years now, I have been the co-owner and chairman of the limited liability company ZENPOL Sp. z o.o. It deals with imports and distribution of primary materials for the chemical sector.

I have founded several firms in Poland and abroad, I am also active as an investor on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Social activity:

Together with my Family, we are actively engaging in efforts to provide assistance to Poles living in the Wilno/Vilnius region (in Lithuania).

In recognition of my collaboration with, and support for the Association of Political Prisoners of the Stalinist Period, I am proud to have been granted honorary membership of that organisation.

I co-organised Poland’s first Museum of the Judiciary, in Warsaw.
My hobbies: history, archaeology, travels, watersports.

I joined the Confederation of Polish Nobility in 2004. From 2007 I was secretary of the Warsaw Branch, in 2008 I was appointed secretary of the Main Board.

Some information about my family’s roots:

The Ilcewicz, coat of arms Lubicz, are a noble family originating from Lida district in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Preserved source documentation enable to certify that from the 16th to the first half of the 20th centuries, members of the Ilcewicz family were the landowners of properties situated in the following localities: Chomicze, Kudły, Kukawka, Marciniszki, Nowokuńce, Ponieździel, Półstoki, Tietiańce,Trabuszki. I originate from the Ilcewicz family branch bynamed Nowokuński. Representatives of this branch of the Ilcewicz family, identified themselves at the Nobility Genealogical Deputation of the Wilno (Vilnius) Province, on 19.10.1820. My ancestors inherited the Kudły and part of the Półstoki properties in the Wilno voivodeship (now in Lithuania). In 1949 the property was confiscated, and the entire family deported to Siberia. The family was repatriated to Poland in 1955.
