I was born on 13 February 1982 in Miami - USA, where my parent s were staying at the time martial law was declared in Poland. We returned to the homeland as soon as air traffic was restated between Poland and the USA, and I grew up enough to endure a long journey. In Warsaw, I graduated at the Emil Młynarski State Primary Music School no.1, class of violoncello. I strive to continue my relations wih music, which is just one reason why since 1991 I am a member of the Boys’/Male Choir of the Warsaw Archcathedral, „Cantores Minores”. From 1997 I attended the John Paul II Alliance of Families High School, with a year pause for studies at the Canisius-Kolleg in Berlin. I studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Warsaw University, also I had the pleasure to study for a year at its Faculty of History.
I started my professional activity at the beginning of studies. I hold a detective’s licence, for three years I was partner in a firm dealing with, i.a., business intelligence: Niemczyk i Wspólnicy Sp. z o. o. Since 2006 I have been conducting reprivatisation activities, by a fund of which I am a co-owner, called Nobilis Partners. I am also a partner-founder of the legal counselling office Nobilis Counsels Polewczak Gładysz Grocholski sp. k., dealing with broad issues of commercial law. I joined the Confederation of Polish Nobility in 2004. I occupied various positions in the Board of its Warsaw Branch, after which I was selected President of the Main Board in October 2008.
I speak English and German very well, I communicate in Russian, additionally in basic Spanish and French languages.
When time allows, I enjoy reading, listening to music or performing it, traveling and actively spending free time, be it on bicycle, or in the mountains.
Some words about my family:
The Grocholski family, coat of arms Syrokomla, is a noble family of senators and dignitaries, originating from the Sandomierz region; with roots dating back to the late 13th/early 14th centuries. Its beginnings are associated with the land properties Grabowo, Grocholice and Korzkiew. Also, the family’s name is derived from Grocholice. My ancestors settled in Podolia in the 18th century, where until the 1917 revolution they inherited, among other, the Pietniczany and Strzyżawka properties near Winnica. In the period of the Russian Empire, in 1881, my great-grandfather was identified as a count.
